Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MySmarTrend("we," "us," or "our"), a service operated by Ramy LLC, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit mysmartrend.com(the "Site"), subscribe to our emails, or opt in to our SMS program. SMS consent is separate and optional; using the Site or subscribing to email does not provide consent to marketing texts.

Information we collect

• Optional mobile number — if you provide one on a signup form, and separately check the SMS consent box, we store it with your subscriber record and signup details for future MySmarTrend marketing texts. We also record your affirmative consent, the time received, the disclosure wording and version, and the linked policy and SMS terms. Numbers previously collected only to measure interest are not treated as SMS opt-ins. You may sign up for email without a mobile number or SMS consent.
• Email address — when you sign up for our newsletter, alerts, a free guide, or any other offer.
• Signup and interest details — the page you signed up from, the offer or call-to-action you responded to, any ticker or sector interest you indicated, and marketing attribution parameters (such as UTM source, medium, and campaign).
• Usage and device data — pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location, browser and device type, and similar analytics, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
• Purchase information — if you buy a paid report or subscription, our payment processor collects your payment details (we do not store full card numbers).

How we use your information

• To send email newsletters, market commentary, alerts, and promotions.
• With your separate SMS opt-in, to send recurring automated MySmarTrend market alerts, commentary, and offers when our SMS program launches, and to document and manage consent.
• To operate, personalize, measure, and improve the Site and our emails.
• To process purchases and provide customer support.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we never will. MySmarTrend is supported in part by advertising, so the emails we send you may contain third-party advertisements and sponsored messages. Displaying an advertiser's message inside our own email does not involve giving that advertiser your email address or identity.

Optional partner offers (co-registration)

On certain pages we may offer you the choice to receive offers directly from specific partners. We share your information with a partner only if you affirmatively opt in to that partner's offer on such a page. If you do not opt in, we do not share your information with that partner. Opting in is never required to subscribe to MySmarTrend.

Service providers

We use third-party providers to run the Site and our email program, including:

• beehiiv — email list management and delivery.
• PostHog — product and marketing analytics.
• Stripe — payment processing for paid products.
• Hosting and database providers — storing subscriber and consent records.
• SMS delivery providers, once configured — operating our text program on our behalf.

These providers process information on our behalf and have their own privacy policies governing their use of data.

Mobile information and SMS consent

Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, and consent are not sold, rented, or shared with affiliates or third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes, including through partner offers or co-registration. The sharing categories above exclude SMS opt-in data and consent, except for service providers that need this information solely to store consent or operate our messaging program on our behalf, or disclosures required by law. We do not send mobile numbers to our email marketing platform or analytics events.

Texts may begin after the program launches. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase or email signup. See our SMS Terms for program details.

Your choices

• SMS — withdraw consent before launch or at any time by emailing privacy@mysmartrend.com. Once messages begin, reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Email and SMS preferences are separate; unsubscribing from email alone does not withdraw SMS consent.
• Unsubscribe — every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, which stops all marketing emails from us.
• Partner offers— because we share your information with a partner only when you opt in to that partner's offer, you control this at the point of sign-up. If you have opted into a partner offer and want to withdraw, contact that partner directly, or email us at privacy@mysmartrend.com and we will help.
• Access or deletion — you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at the address above.
• Cookies — you can control cookies through your browser settings.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to provide our services and for legitimate business or legal purposes, after which we delete or de-identify it. Consent and opt-out records may be retained as needed to document permission, honor suppression requests, and comply with legal obligations, even after you unsubscribe or request deletion.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Not financial advice

MySmarTrend publishes general market information and commentary for informational purposes only. It is not investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell any security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when we post the updated policy with a revised "Last updated" date.
